New General Manager for SIRIO Europe as CDMO sharpens its European growth strategy
Bringing 20+ years of international commercial leadership, Kasia Kortmann will lead a new chapter of growth and develop the nutraceutical CDMO’s long-term European strategy.
10 September 2026, Pritzwalk, Germany – SIRIO Europe, a leading global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), has appointed Kasia Kortmann as General Manager of its high-performing European business. Kortmann brings more than 20 years of international commercial leadership experience, with a track record spanning multi-country P&L ownership, enterprise transformation and commercial strategy at scale.
She joins the business at a period of strong growth. SIRIO’s European revenue reached €93.8 million in 2025, an increase of 24.95% year on year, making Europe the company’s fastest-growing region.
Setting the European growth agenda
Kortmann’s immediate priorities will include defining SIRIO’s long-term vision for Europe and translating it into a clear growth strategy for the region, underpinned by a strong performance culture. She will also focus on building an organization equipped to execute that strategy consistently across individual countries and on further strengthening relationships with SIRIO’s customers.
Another priority will be expanding SIRIO’s portfolio of ready-to-launch concepts and delivery formats for brand partners. These include gummies, softgels and instant fizzy tabs, alongside other convenient, on-the-go formats designed around specific moments in consumers’ daily lives. By broadening these capabilities, Kortmann will help SIRIO’s partners stay ahead in a fast-paced and quickly-evolving supplement market.
Two decades of multi-country leadership
Kortmann joins SIRIO from Ontex, where she was General Manager for DACH (Germany, Austria & Switzerland), Benelux and the Nordics. She also served as VP Commercial Transformation Europe, leading a multi-year simplification agenda and an operating model redesign.
Earlier in her career, Kortmann spent several years at Procter & Gamble, across local markets and EMEA HQ, where she managed multiple regions and worked on go-to-market strategies, market expansions, category management and pricing. Together, these roles have given her more than two decades of experience leading complex, multi-market businesses, driving commercial growth and transformation at scale.
Building for the long term
“SIRIO Europe has built a strong position by combining its pharmaceutical heritage and global scale with deep specialist expertise, and my focus is on where we take that next,” says Kortmann. “That means setting a clear long-term vision for the region, defining the strategy to deliver it and building an organization that can execute consistently across every market we operate in. At the same time, we have a clear commitment to our brand partners: continuing to bring innovative concepts and products to market that help them lead their categories.”
A changing European market
Kortmann expects the pace of change in the European market to shape where SIRIO Europe invests for future growth.
“The European nutraceutical market is entering an exciting phase,” she says. “There is real momentum in longevity, active lifestyle nutrition, beauty from within, and women’s and children’s health – categories that reflect how people now think about well-being across their lives, rather than only when something goes wrong.
“Consumers have changed too. They are better informed than ever, while wearables give them real-time feedback on what is working, raising the bar for our industry. They are also moving beyond individual products towards multifunctional supplements in formats that fit naturally into the stacks and routines they can sustain over time.
“That’s the opportunity for SIRIO Europe. We’re the nutra specialists: pharma heritage, nutraceutical focus. And Europe isn’t one market, it’s twenty-plus, each with its own habits and regulations. Getting that nuance right, market by market, is what turns a good formulation into a product that helps brands differentiate on the shelf and people create lasting habits. This is where I want us to lead.”
