He holds a Master’s degree in Food Technology (Product Design) from Wageningen University.

Oriol holds a MSc in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing and Business Management from the University of Warwick as well as a B.S Degree in Biotechnology from the University of Barcelona. He has over 8 years of experience in B2B pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industry in Product Management, Strategic Marketing and Business Development with specific background in Omega 3.

Anne-Cathrine (Anca) Vislie

Global Marketing Lead – Superba Krill, Aker BioMarine

Anca Vislie holds a Master Degree in International Marketing and Economics from St Andrews University in Scotland and is a marketing expert with over 20 years in the health and wellness space, specializing in both fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and business-to-business (B2B) operations.

Her career has equipped her with a solid foundation in consumer insights, strategic brand growth and management as well as digital content creation and distribution.

Maria Pavlidou

Head of Brand – SIRIO Europe

Maria is a marketing leader with over 15 years of experience in marketing and communications across multinational and local companies, focusing on health and nutrition in both B2C and B2B contexts. Starting her career in B2C marketing roles at Danone and Novartis, Maria developed a deep understanding of consumer behavior, enabling her to bring valuable consumer insights to her clients. She spent nearly 8 years at DSM, where she led the marketing communication activities for EMEA across various roles. Before joining Sirio, Maria expanded her strategic expertise as a senior strategy consultant at The Healthy Marketing Team, a leading marketing and branding consulting agency. With expertise spanning messaging, communication, branding, and positioning, Maria combines her B2C background with strategic acumen to help clients create impactful, consumer-focused solutions.

Kevin joined Sirio in 2024 as the Business Development Manager for the Nordics region, bringing 8 years of experience in the FMCG supplement industry. He is dedicated to driving growth and innovation across the Nordic markets, with a particular passion for sports and a strong interest in sports nutrition. At Sirio, Kevin combines his expertise in the supplement industry with his enthusiasm for promoting active lifestyles, delivering tailored solutions that create new opportunities, address challenges, and support client projects. Passionate about building strong connections, he guides brands through every stage of their product launch while fostering long-term, impactful partnerships. Kevin is excited to continue supporting all customers in achieving their goals and advancing innovation in sports and beyond!

Regional Sales Director – SIRIO Europe

Alex has a degree in biotechnology and extensive professional experience spanning R&D, manufacturing, and sales in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. With a blend of technical knowledge and commercial acumen Alex drives business growth across Western Europe, leveraging over 14 years of expertise in strategic sales and business development.

Edda Marwede

Product Manager Omega-3s – Imperial Oil.

With well over 3 years of hands-on experience in omega-3s, Edda is developing ImperialOel’s business in the supplement space. She works closely with the company’s R&D and science team to provide customers with research-driven, premium formulations that appeal to an increasingly educated and health-conscious consumer. In her role, she combines a solid scientific foundation with a desire to understand customers’ needs and a strong passion for innovation.

 

Edda holds a Master of Science in Agribusiness and is serving customers in various European markets. Following work in the infant nutrition industry, her full focus today is on omega-3s for the different nutritional supplement dosage forms. She sees particularly interesting opportunities in combining the benefits of vegan omega sources such as algal and Ahiflower oil to create synergistic omega-3 fatty acids compositions beyond “good old” EPA+DHA.
