Agenda

Our day will start at 09.00 am with coffee and breakfast buffet and the presentations will kick off at 09.30 am. We will end the official program at 5:00 pm with a cocktail party, and later enjoy a memorable dinner.

Livia Menichetti

Director-General of EHPM

As Director General of the European Federation of Associations of Health Product Manufacturers (EHPM), Livia Menichetti leads the association’s public affairs and advocacy strategy, representing the interests of the European food supplement sector with EU institutions and stakeholders. She oversees EHPM’s external communications, events, and publications, and manages the Secretariat’s operations, including governance, administration, and member coordination. Before joining EHPM, Livia worked for eight years in the Brussels office of the Umbria Region as councillor to the President of the Umbria Region, managing European affairs, advocacy, and relations with the European Parliament, European Commission, and Committee of the Regions. Earlier in her career, she held roles in EU public affairs and project management with Ernst & Young and Unisys. She holds a Master’s degree in International Politics and Diplomacy from the University of Padua and a Master’s in European Studies from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

Rafael Hinojosa

Rafael is a seasoned expert in omega‑3 and innovative nutraceutical solutions, with a proven track record in creating value for clients worldwide. Over the years, he had held key roles at leading companies such as Roche Vitamins, Puleva, Capsugel, DSM, and KD Pharma, where he combined scientific expertise with strategic vision to deliver high‑impact results. His passion lies in developing differentiated health solutions that improve people’s well‑being while helping partners achieve sustainable growth. He is dedicated to building strong collaborations and turning scientific innovation into competitive advantages for the global market.

Dr. Richard Day

VP R&D Medical Affairs & Clinical Development at ADM

RiVice President, R&D Medical Affairs & Clinical Development at ADM Health & Wellness, where he leads a global portfolio of clinical research across bioactive ingredients, with a particular emphasis on biotics. A medical doctor by training, his expertise spans digestive, immune, metabolic and mental health research, across human and pet research. He sits on the Scientific Committee of the International Probiotics Association and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. Richard holds degrees from the University of Oxford and King’s College London and is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Michael Hempel

Business Development Director at Aker BioMarine

With over 20 years of experience in the dietary supplements industry across international markets, Michael brings a true 360-degree perspective — having worked for a brand owner of supplements, a distributor of branded ingredients, and now for a producer of premium, science-backed omega-3 products. This unique vantage point gives him deep insight into the industry, with a particular focus on Omega-3 alternatives and solutions.

Peter Carlsson

International Sales Manager, Zooca®- The Calanus Company

Peter has spent much of his career working in B2B and B2C sales, business development, and international partnerships within the health and nutrition industry. Today, he works with partners around the world to bring innovative and science-backed solutions to market. He is particularly interested in the potential of Calanus finmarchicus, a small zooplankton species from the North Atlantic that serves as the source of Zooca® Calanus® Oil, a unique natural marine lipid that combines science, sustainability, and commercial opportunity.

Pim Lenderink

Sensory Insights Manager at Givaudan

Pim is a Sensory Insights Manager at Givaudan, a global leader in flavours and taste solutions. He leads a team of around 50 sensory expert tasters and brings 10 years of experience in sensory science and insights. Combining sensory expertise with experience across both B2C and B2B environments, Pim focuses on translating sensory data into clear, actionable insights. His work helps connect what people perceive and experience in a product with the needs of customers and consumers, supporting the development of great-tasting products that consumers enjoy and want to buy again.

Marie Jane Fallourd

Marie Jane Fallourd, a Msc in food technology with executive degrees in Marketing and Food & Beverage Innovation Management, is an accomplished biotech and innovation executive with over 30 years of experience spanning R&D, product development, and strategic marketing of high-value functional B2B ingredients for the food and beverage industries. She currently serves as Marketing & Product Director at Fermentalg, where she leads the commercialization of pioneering microalgae-derived solutions. Her career bridges scientific innovation and market strategy, translating research into impactful and sustainable business value.

Alex has a degree in biotechnology and extensive professional experience spanning R&D, manufacturing, and sales in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. With a blend of technical knowledge and commercial acumen Alex drives business growth across Western Europe, leveraging over 14 years of expertise in strategic sales and business development.

Cressida Cable

Head of Retail and Pharmacy Chains at SIRIO Europe

Cress is an experienced commercial leader with 20+ years’ experience working within the health and wellbeing sector. She started her career in retail, working for leading British retailers including Superdrug and Holland & Barrett before moving into B2B where she has worked for a variety of leading contract manufacturers, suppliers, and wholesalers in the nutritional industry. Combining her technical and formulation expertise with her broad retail knowledge, Cress supports SIRIO’s retail and pharmacy chain customers in bringing their latest own brand innovation to market.

Chris-Maré Agenbag

Commercial Formulation Manager at SIRIO Europe

Chris-Maré Agenbag is the Commercial Formulations Manager at SIRIO Europe, with over a decade of experience in nutraceutical product development, market analysis, and consumer-led innovation. With a background in clinical pharmacology, she bridges scientific evidence, regulatory considerations, and commercial strategy to develop market-driven nutraceutical concepts. Working closely with R&D, commercial, and innovation teams, Chris-Maré translates emerging science and consumer insights into commercially viable delivery formats and differentiated product solutions for global brands.

The Venue

Our event takes place at Het Vondelparkpaviljoen, a monumental 19th-century building nestled in the heart of Amsterdam’s beloved Vondelpark. Combining historic neo-Renaissance architecture with warm, refined interiors, the pavilion offers a setting that is both distinctive and full of character.

The venue features a mix of elegant rooms and a sweeping outdoor terrace overlooking the park, creating space for both focused gatherings and relaxed networking.
