SIRIO to launch shelf-ready range of skin and sports hydration concepts

15 April 2025, Frankfurt, Germany – SIRIO, a leading global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) and pioneer of advanced nutraceutical gummy and softgel solutions, today announces it will be launching a shelf-ready range of hydration solutions for skin health and sports nutrition at Vitafoods Europe 2025. Designed to address rising consumer interest in this category of supplements, the new platform offers shelf-ready, on-trend concepts that enable brands to tap into the expanding sports and skin health markets.

More than skin deep

Hydration is essential to wellness, yet only 30% of consumers feel adequately hydrated. The new skin hydration range features six targeted concepts, including HydraPearls™ Vital – a first-to-market softgel combining Superba® krill oil, collagen, and hyaluronic acid. Also in the line-up is HydraPearls™ Glow, formulated with safflower, vitamin C, and Ovoderm® eggshell membrane collagen to support skin elasticity and overall health.

Hydration is also key to sports performance, yet intense exercise causes many individuals to feel dehydrated. With 42% linking it to sustained energy, SIRIO’s new sports hydration concepts help active consumers stay optimally hydrated before, during, and after workouts.

The range of six concepts in this health benefit area includes HydraBites™ Energy gummies – a market-first combining high-dose magnesium, electrolytes, and vitamin B6 in just two gummies a day. SIRIO is also launching two unique, innovative instant fizzy tablets – FizzyBits™ Energy and FizzyBits™ Recovery – that provide hydration as well as an energy boost and recovery support respectively, without the need for water.
