Katowice



Bartosz Demianiuk. Economist, President of the Board The Polish Council for Supplements and Nutritional Foods (KRSiO, Warsaw), board member of the European Federation of Associations of Health Product Manufacturers (EHPM, Brussels), experienced business practitioner, managing contract manufacturing companies in the pharmaceutical and dietary supplement industry. Consultant and expert in internationalization and passionate about cooperation in competitive markets.
Head of the Life Science and Healthcare Practice and lecturer at the Jagiellonian University. She specializes in life science, primarily in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical, food and beauty industries. Uchańska Ph.D. also has many years of experience in the field of IP, patent law, civil law and human rights. She advises individual clients and business entities. Member of industry organizations, including the National Council of Supplements and Nutrients (the Member of the Supervisory Board). She participates in legislative work as part of public consultations, including relating to industrial property law, patent law and the law of combating unfair competition.
Author of more than a hundred scientific and industry publications on intellectual property law (patent law), civil law and medical, pharmaceutical and food law, including co-author of the second edition of M. du Valla’s “Patent Law” edited by E. Traple (the biotech inventions part).
A speaker at numerous conferences, trainings and workshops in the country and abroad (in Europe and the Far East). For many years, he has been a lecturer in postgraduate studies in fiscal and economic criminal law and medical law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University. Co-executor of an international (Germany, US, Italy, UK, India) project dealing with testing the patentability of inventions and creating a unique method of testing patentability (Uchańska was responsible for a biotech inventions area).

Marta Grybś-Kabocik is an economist and market researcher. She gained experience in the field of consumer behavior, both in academia (from 2015 at the University of Economics in Katowice) and at the marketing research and consumer intelligence company (from 2022 to 2023 at NielsenIQ). She specializes in quantitative and qualitative research, with particular emphasis on path to purchase study. In 2021, she obtained a PhD in social sciences in the discipline of economics and finance. She is an author of numerous publications and lecturer conducting workshops in the field of consumer behaviour, both in Poland and abroad.
Brandy Design - an independent branding and packaging studio with over 20 years of experience, founded by Dr. Maciej Konopka.
The studio has a portfolio of cases from the most popular FMCG categories, including iconic brands for the Polish market and consumers: Cydr Lubelski, Magne B6, El Sol, Day Up, Stock Prestige, J.A. Baczewski.
The studio is currently preparing to launch a new service that effectively combines marketing research with the design process.
Jakub Śwircz - branding and design strategist, managing manager of Brandy Design. Responsible for key client relationships and design implementation consulting. Vice president of the Brandy Lab Foundation, established by the agency, which explores the strategic potential of design, also in the area of sustainability. Lecturer at Collegium Civitas, where he focuses on the topics of green marketing and brand engagement.
Maria is a marketing leader with more than 14 years of experience in marketing & communications in both multinational and local companies, always in the area of health and nutrition, in B2C and B2B space. Maria started her career in B2C marketing roles at Danone and Novartis, before joining DSM where she worked for almost 8 years in different marketing roles, leading the marketing communication strategy for EMEA. Prior to joining Sirio, Maria worked as a senior strategy consultant at the HMT, a leading marketing and branding consulting agency. Maria´s expertise varies from messaging and communication to branding and positioning.
Pawel has over 15 years of experience in the life science, pharmaceutical and nutrition business. Before Sirio, we worked for Lonza, where he held several sales and business development roles over the course of 10 years, first with Capsugel, then with Lonza’s Capsules and Health Ingredients BU.
